The Teacher of Record Pathway is an outstanding opportunity for those with a bachelor’s degree in any field and experience working with children in a classroom setting to jumpstart their teaching career. The Teacher of Record pathway is designed for people who are ready to step into their own classrooms as a full time teacher on Day 1. Teachers of Record are responsible for seeking out and securing an open teaching position. During this 12-18 month program, Teachers of Record will be closely supported by a PEBC Coach and an in-building mentor.
What sets this program apart is the unparalleled support you’ll receive as well as the rigorous content, the opportunity to earn transferable master’s credits and five years of professional development once you are done with the program. We don’t just license teachers, we make sure they are set up to sustain a long term career in education.

PEBC has continued to offer me support through Google Meet, post program, whenever I need it. They also offer me observations so that I can continue my professional development. As a TOR, it was difficult to balance work, life and PEBC course work. My coaches worked with me to come up with a plan of attack to be able to keep up on my work and stay afloat in the classroom.
