Traditional Residency Pathway

Traditional Residents gain support from PEBC coaches as they work side-by-side with a mentor teacher in the classroom.

Must hold a bachelor's degree - no prior teaching experience necessary. Earn your teacher license in this one year program.

Teacher of Record Pathway

Teachers of Record are supported by PEBC mentors and coaches as they serve as the sole teacher in the classroom.

Must hold a bachelor's degree and have significant experience in an educational setting. You'll be hired and paid by a school district during this 12-18 month program.

Special Education Pathway

Program participants spend Year 1 working side-by-side with a mentor teacher in a general education classroom and Year 2 as a fully salaried Teacher of Record in a Special Education classroom.

Must hold a bachelor's degree - no prior teaching experience necessary. Earn teacher license and SPED endorsement.

Pre-Bachelor's Pathway

The Pre-Bachelor’s pathway is designed for folks who will one day make great teachers and who need to start or complete a Bachelor’s degree.

Participants will be supported by AdvanceEDU and complete their degree through CSU Global online, then receive priority admission into the Traditional or Teacher of Record pathway.

New American Pathway

Program participants spend Year 1 enhancing their English language skills, classroom and technology skills and then start the PEBC Teacher Residency in Year 2 to obtain their teaching license.

Bachelor's degree (from any country) required. Basic written and spoken English required.
