We are thrilled that you are interested in working with PEBC to become an ECE, Special Education, Elementary, or Secondary teacher!
No tuition for Traditional Residents who train with a mentor teacher during the 2026-2027 school year!

How to Apply
- Traditional Resident and Special Education Pathways:
The Application for 27-28 Traditional Resident and Special Education Pathways Opens September 1, 2026.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with an option to start in early July or January.

Apply at any time to start on your path to a bachelor’s degree.

Application Process
- Submit a free application
- Attend an Admissions Q&A Meeting (via Zoom)
- Complete an asynchronous video Interview
- Participate a in final group interview (offered monthly)
- Receive acceptance decision
- Enroll and pay program deposit
- Engage in Summer Institute July 2026
The admissions process is the same for the Traditional Residency, Teacher of Record and Special Education pathways. For the New American and AdvanceEDU pathways a PEBC staff member will reach out to you after you submit your free application.

Application Deadlines to Apply for Traditional Resident, Teacher of Record, & Special Education Pathways 2027-2028 School Year:
- Early Application Deadline: December 1, 2026
- Regular Deadline: March 1, 2027
- Extended Deadline: May 1, 2027
- Program Start: July 5, 2027
