The Alumni Legacy Fund exists to make sure a financial hardship doesn't stand between a future educator and the classroom.
The PEBC Alumni Legacy Fund is an alumni-supported fund created to invest in the next generation of educators by helping PEBC Teacher Residents overcome unexpected financial barriers during their residency year.
As someone who understands the demands of the residency, you know that the journey can be both transformative and challenging. Your generosity helps ensure that a financial hardship doesn’t stand between a talented aspiring educator and the classroom.
You also know that becoming a teacher isn't always easy.
Many residents are balancing reduced income, family responsibilities, transportation costs, certification fees, classroom expenses, and unexpected emergencies. Sometimes, an unexpected $500 expense can become the difference between staying on track and stepping away from the program.
Help a future educator stay on the path.
During its inaugural year, 2026–27, the Alumni Legacy Fund will provide emergency financial assistance to PEBC Teacher Residents facing unforeseen hardships that could otherwise interrupt or prevent successful completion of the residency program.
As the fund grows, PEBC intends to expand support into scholarships and additional financial assistance—helping make the residency experience more accessible to future educators.
Your support at any level makes a difference.
Whether you make a one-time gift or invest in the next generation of educators every month, your contribution helps ensure that a temporary financial challenge doesn't derail a future teacher's journey.
