Join Dr. Anthes for a virtual book study of Amanda Ripley’s: High Conflict: Why We Get Trapped and How to Get Out*

Together, we will use the book to learn how to steer out of high conflict loops and into more productive ways of seeing each other and working together for a clear focus on students. This three-part book study will help you navigate away and de-escalate  destructive conflict situations, and move forward to solutions.

  • Module 1 (February 6, 2024, 5 - 6:30 p.m.): How did we get here and why? We will work to better understand good and bad conflict..
  • Module 2 (March 4, 2024, 5 - 6:30 p.m.): How do we listen and build connection?  We will learn to see humanity in others, even when we vehemently disagree, and explore why it  is critically important in these times.
  • Module 3 (April 4, 2024, 5 - 6:30 p.m.) What are strategies for getting out of high conflict situations? We will identify methods for getting unstuck and moving forward.

*Attendees should purchase their own copy of the text in preparation for the book study.
