Math Lab Classroom with
Wendy Ward Hoffer

Are you ready to shift from pursuing content coverage to seeking student understanding?

Come and explore a math workshop with first graders. Wendy Ward Hoffer, author of Minds on Mathematics, will facilitate this lab which offers practical and specific ways to become the math teacher you’ve always wanted to be.

In the PEBC Lab classroom, participants will spend the morning observing the instruction and learning in that classroom. With the lab classroom host, Wendy Ward Hoffer, participants will spend the afternoon debriefing their observation reading professional literature, and reflecting on the implications for their own classroom practice.
